Md. Sazedur Rahman

MSc Student

Md. Sazedur Rahman received his bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh, in 2021. His undergraduate thesis was entitled “Machine Vision-Based Eye Gaze-Controlled Virtual Keyboard for People with Neuromotor Impairments,” where a virtual keyboard was developed successfully using machine learning algorithms. Moreover, he was a part of the Control System Research Group of RUET, where he conducted research on biomedical technologies and control system algorithms. As a result, he has numerous publications on IEEE regarding AI and control systems.

Prior to joining Dr. Hussein Gharakhani’s lab, he was a Research and Development Engineer (R&D) at Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, an electronic product manufacturing company in Bangladesh. He was involved in designing and implementing several Python programming models to innovate and troubleshoot various compressor models. He is also proficient in SolidWorks and has performed several compressor and robotic part drawings. His current research areas focus on computer vision, robotics, artificial intelligence, precision agriculture, and control systems.
