Mohammad Shamoushaki

PhD student

Mohammad Shamoushaki is a PhD student in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Mississippi State University, specializing in Robotics and Computer Vision. With a robust background in Robotics and strong technical expertise, he is dedicated to advancing research in Precision Agriculture, exploring how robotic and vision-based technologies can optimize agricultural processes and enhance productivity.
Mohammad holds a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Babol Noshirvani University of Technology, where he gained substantial experience in both theoretical and applied aspects of robotics. His versatile skill set includes programming, robotic system design, and hands-on implementation. He has contributed to several projects. Notably, he has designed and experimentally tested an autonomous, vision-based mobile robot capable of executing obstacle avoidance maneuvers.
Currently, Mohammad’s research interests include integrating AI-driven robotic systems to develop smart solutions for agricultural challenges. He is especially interested in developing autonomous systems that can analyze and respond to dynamic field conditions, making robotics more adaptable and intelligent.
